Tlos - Yakapark - Saklıkent Tour
Afterpicking you up from your accommodation and observing local village life forabout an hour, we'll arrive at our first destination: Tlos, which is on theUNESCO World Heritage Temporary List.
Tlosis an ancient Lycian city whose settlement dates back approximately 4000 years.We'll explore this ancient city, where one of the highlights for visitors isthe impressive monumental tomb depicting the battle of Pegasus with thethree-headed monster Chimaera. The settlement of the ancient city includesremnants such as baths, a stadium, church ruins, and a theater. Within the citystands a six-arched gate, and to the south of this gate, you can still see theRoman-era walls. Having passed through the periods of Ottoman, Byzantine, andRoman rule, Tlos is a significant historical treasure trove with its Lycianrock tombs.
Aftersoaking in the historical atmosphere of Tlos and enduring the scorching middayheat, Yakapark offers a refreshing oasis. It's a unique relaxation spot whereyou can visit trout farms, gardens with artificial waterfalls, and enjoy adelicious open buffet lunch. If you're feeling brave, you cantraverse through the icy waters for a 2 km hike, or relax in the wooden loungesalong the canyon's edge, dipping your feet in the refreshing cold water.
